Digital Marketing Specialist - Agawam, MA

Position

OMG’s Roofing Products division delivers products and services that improve contractor productivity and enhance roofing system performance. Reporting to the Director of Communications, the Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for optimization, maintenance and reporting related to the Roofing Products website, social media and other demand generation communication programs. Key to success in this role includes the ability to create, distribute, measure and amplify Social and Digital Media communications, website maintenance and internet paid and earned advertising. The Digital Marketing Specialist also must possess strong time management skills, the ability to communicate clearly regarding priorities and goals, the ability to pursue projects from conception to completion and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.

 

Responsibilities

Requirements

CNC Programmer 3rd Shift - Agawam, MA

CNC Programmer/Machinist

Position

Reporting to the Toolroom & Stamping Manager, the CNC Programmer operates CNC machines and is proficient with both CNC controls as well as CAD & CAM software. The successful candidate will set up and operate conventional and special purpose machines and machining centers to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities

  • Create a documentation standard for CNC programs and Toolroom engineering drawings.

  • Setup and use milling machines, surface grinders, lathes, etc.
  • Design and build progressive stamping dies, components & documentation.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent, with Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a CNC Programmer and/or Machinist capacity, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient with CNC controls and tooling as well as programming parts with CAD/CAM software.
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume, as well as the ability to apply concepts of basic geometry and trigonometry.

Position 

OMG’s FastenMaster division offers a broad line of specialty fasteners for exterior applications (decking & trim) and structural wood to wood connections. This key position is responsible for supply chain management, finished goods planning and sales support for assigned FastenMaster product lines. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Value Stream Manager maintains product flow, using LEAN and Six Sigma tools to eliminate waste and meet customer service needs. Critical to the success of the Value Stream Manager is strong communication with our Manufacturing, Distribution and Sales teams regarding issues and process improvement. Position

2nd Shift, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Electrician is responsible for supporting the electrical projects that impact our facilities, as well as providing machine maintenance that involves electrical adjustments.

Machine Operator - Addison, IL

We are looking for Machine Operators to produce world class fasteners using safe machine operating techniques and effective lean manufacturing principles. The Machine Operator uses Cold Heading, Roll Threading, Pointing and Cellular Manufacturing to produce parts according to specifications and Kanban card requirements. Position

The quality of our products and services is critical to OMG.  The Quality Engineer develops and implements systems and processes that enable us to ensure the quality of these products and services to our customers.  Reporting to the Quality Manager, this key position analyzes data collected and works with production resources to correct errors and make improvements.  The Quality Engineer trains internal resources in Quality procedures and audit processes to guarantee the integrity of our products.

Responsibilities

  • Participate on New Product Development teams to ensure built in quality processes.
  • Plan and implement quality control systems for new products.
  • Prepare and conduct training activities related to product quality and QMS awareness.

Position

The OMG Advanced Engineering & Manufacturing (AEM) team is focused on developing compelling and innovative new products, and improving our existing products to better meet the needs of professional contractors and building specifiers in the markets we serve. Reporting to the Director of Advanced Engineering & Manufacturing, you will use a gated development process and Six Sigma tools.
