Position

OMG’s Roofing Products division delivers products and services that improve contractor productivity and enhance roofing system performance. Reporting to the Director of Communications, the Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for optimization, maintenance and reporting related to the Roofing Products website, social media and other demand generation communication programs. Key to success in this role includes the ability to create, distribute, measure and amplify Social and Digital Media communications, website maintenance and internet paid and earned advertising. The Digital Marketing Specialist also must possess strong time management skills, the ability to communicate clearly regarding priorities and goals, the ability to pursue projects from conception to completion and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related field
• 5 years’ experience in relevant Marketing role with digital marketing experience
• Proven track record delivering multifaceted, digitally driven campaigns from strategy through execution
• Strong analytical skills with ability to utilize metrics to track performance against goals
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, focus and influence
• Strong digital copywriting, design, content marketing and verbal communication skills
• Ability to translate customer insights into successful digital marketing programs
• Experience managing successful social media campaigns
• Ability to use creativity to identify new, compelling ways to reach and digitally communicate to customers
• Demonstrated ability to work positively/effectively across an organization and with customers/external support resources.

Position

2^nd Shift, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Electrician is responsible for supporting the electrical projects that impact our facilities, as well as providing machine maintenance that involves electrical adjustments.  

Responsibilities

• Promote Safety as the Number 1 priority of all employees. 
• Provide support on scheduled electrical projects and daily work in order to achieve maintenance goals.
• Recommend improvements to equipment and processes as necessary.
• Monitor equipment usage and make recommendations to reduce spending.
• Develop and maintain an expectation of quality as an essential element of project success.
• Evaluate and compare various control and power alternatives, help Maintenance Supervisor to select the best solution using technical, economic, reliability and maintainability criteria.
• Perform other duties as requested by the Maintenance Supervisor. 

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Journeyman Electrician license preferred.
• 5 years of experience working with all appropriate hand tools and electrical testing equipment.
• Sound working knowledge of PLC, AC and DC drives.
• Demonstrated record of compliance with company policy, including time & attendance.
• Good written and verbal communication and basic math skills.
• Ability to solve practical problems and prioritize workloads.

We are looking for Machine Operators to produce world class fasteners using safe machine operating techniques and effective lean manufacturing principles. The Machine Operator uses Cold Heading, Roll Threading, Pointing and Cellular Manufacturing to produce parts according to specifications and Kanban card requirements. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Machine Operator must be a team player and committed to delivering only the best quality to our customers!

Responsibilities:

• Sets up machine, observes operation, and inspects first run and sample work pieces to ensure machining conforms to specifications.
• Reads blueprint or job order for product and job specifications such as wire type, dimensions, tolerances, number of parts to be run, and tooling instructions.
• Selects, installs and adjusts specified tooling to conform to production run sheet and sets forming speeds and feed rates.
• Performs routine lubrication and preventative maintenance inspections as required.
• Observes all safety rules.
• Performs routine and preventative machine maintenance.
• Assists other machine operators to set up machine, and stack, mark, pack, and transport finished work pieces.
• Maintains a neat and well-organized work area.
• Other duties as directed by Shift Supervisor or Group Leader.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in cold-heading, pointing, and/or threading preferred.
• Capable of using standard tools and measurement devices such as micrometers, scales, rulers, depth gauges and calipers.

Position

The quality of our products and services is critical to OMG.  The Quality Engineer develops and implements systems and processes that enable us to ensure the quality of these products and services to our customers.  Reporting to the Quality Manager, this key position analyzes data collected and works with production resources to correct errors and make improvements.  The Quality Engineer trains internal resources in Quality procedures and audit processes to guarantee the integrity of our products.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and conduct training activities related to product quality and QMS awareness.

Requirements

• Strong statistical skills, experience using Quality Tools and knowledge of Lean Principles.

Position

The OMG Advanced Engineering & Manufacturing (AEM) team is focused on developing compelling and innovative new products, and improving our existing products to better meet the needs of professional contractors and building specifiers in the markets we serve. Reporting to the Director of Advanced Engineering & Manufacturing, you will use a gated development process and Six Sigma tools. This highly rewarding position is responsible for whole project management – from concept to launch, including timeline management, cross-organization communications, and overall team management.
